The Peter O’Toole Prize supports young actors in their professional debut on the Bristol Old Vic stage.

The Peter O'Toole Prize, named in honour of my father and something I know Peter would have been pleased to attach his name to, is an important springboard for talented young actors.
By providing opportunities for gifted performers, we can afford deserving prize-winners the same chance my father had to hone their craft on the very same stage.
Members are also invited to see the development of this work, in the rehearsal room and at the dress rehearsal, with the creative teams of each shows.
All levels of Bristol Old Vic membership comprise a benefits value representing the cost of membership to the theatre. The benefits can be purchased separately at the state price. Any amounts given over and above this benefits value are given freely as a donation and are eligible for Gift Aid. To discuss purchasing benefits separately please contact the Development team.
