Carboot Disco Bingo
The Theatre on The DownsPart dance lesson, part party, part performance, part bingo. A game for all ages and abilities.
Think Donna Summer is hosting a party in the gala bingo hall! A game for all ages and abilities; Carboot Disco Bingo is about having fun together in the moment.
Carboot Disco Bingo is a collaboration between Megan Clark-Bagnall and Jasmine Loveys. Essentially it’s an extravagant game of bingo incorporating fantastic disco dancing. Cross the numbers off your bingo card as we draw them out of the bingo ball machine, learn the disco dance moves for each number as we go through the game, and win yourselves some fabulous prizes out the back of our car boot.
Carboot Disco Bingo has been to the RSC’s Midsummer Nights Dreaming, Shuffle Festival’s Day of the Mind, Latitude Festival, Shambala Festival, Greenman Festival, Lollibop Children’s Festival, Darlington’s Festival of Thrift and many more!
This is amazing. We’re all doing it in the studio. You’ve brightened up our whole event. You’re fantastic.

Pay What You Choose
We’ve introduced a flexible pricing scheme for a number of events. Find out more about it here.
- Open Concession – we know these times are extraordinary, so if you don’t have the extra cash right now, don’t worry; book this price range and let us welcome you with open arms.
- Standard – if you can afford to, please book this rate; the extra money you give will support The Theatre on The Downs and the independent artists and companies on its stage, in what is still an incredibly precarious time.
- Pay It Forward – if you’re feeling generous and you have the means, please consider choosing this rate. Each Pay It Forward ticket subsidises two concession tickets, and helps more people experience the delight of watching live theatre.
