Home Ground
–It’s a feeling. It’s in the way we move, run, dart, slide and collide.
Our studs in the grass have planted us here, made this place home. It takes a lot to be a part of a team. A community. A family.
Home Ground is about those three-hour bus rides to an away match, where the victories taste just a little sweeter, the dance-offs in the changing rooms, the nicknames that never die and those perfectly, perfectly timed passes.
But what happens when your space, your place, is threatened? Will the team rally together, and will everyone be onside?
Exploring friendship, football and community, Home Ground is the latest show from Bristol Old Vic’s Young Company, directed by Krista Matthews and devised by the Company.

We are thrilled to announce that this year's performance of Home Ground has received support from our Corporate Partner, VWV. Over the next three years, we are working closely with VWV to explore development and training opportunities for our young people and their staff.
Their investment has significantly contributed towards this year's Young Company production and has opened bursary places across all of our Engagement programmes.
