A weird and wonderful peek at the semi-secret world of Alcoholics Annonymous, through the eyes of a woman who might not belong there.
Commissioned by The Wardrobe Ensemble and in association w/ Blind Summit, Hannah Kumari presents Spinning Wheel - an interdisciplinary examination of sobriety and the rule book.
Hannah Kumari is a performer, writer, puppeteer & theatremaker based in Somerset, she makes work inspired by her own experiences. Her one-woman show ENG-ER-LAND, directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair, was programmed for a sold-out run at Jermyn Street Theatre as part of their offie-winning Footprints Festival, and at Camden People’s Theatre as part of SPRINT 2021. Hannah will tour ENG-ER-LAND to 13 venues in Spring 2022.
