“I have just seen a ship, but as I watched, it broke in two and sank beneath the waves.” - Miranda
The Tempest is about a violent and windy storm.
It’s about brothers fighting. Then learning to forgive.
It’s about who owns an island.
It’s about love. And being told who to love.
It’s about being bossed about or being free to do whatever you like.
And it’s about magic.
Firebird Theatre welcomes you into the world of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Discover this magical story told by a unique ensemble of actors and narrated by actor and presenter, George Webster.
All performances will be followed by a post-show Q&A with the company.
Please note: The show on 22 Jul is invite-only for people with Learning Disabilities. If you or your group would like to attend that performance, please email: theatrefirebird@gmail.com.

I am not a fan of Shakespeare, however I really enjoyed the show. It was very emotional.
