YOUNG SIXSIX LIBRARY: CHOIR BOY WRITING AND STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
“We are fearfully and marvellously made.” — Choir Boy
Written by Tarell Alvin McCraney and directed by Nancy Medina, Choir Boy is a tender, resonant story about how we wrestle to feel empowered, loved, feared, respected.
This November, join emerging theatre makers and Young SixSix associates Kalila Mowatt-Lewis and Khadijah Sawyers for workshops exploring how to create theatre that deals with complex themes with humour and heart.
These workshops are in celebration of the restocking of the Young SixSix Library, a lending library of Black writing resident at Bristol Old Vic.
