Our Christmas Choir Competition is back, bigger than ever, and open to all schools, nurseries and youth choirs, big or small, in the Bristol area.
Taking inspiration from our two main Christmas shows – A Christmas Carol and Chloe and the Colour Catcher, we’re asking choirs to send in a recording of a song, to be judged by the shows’ Musical Directors.
The competition falls into two age categories:
Over 8s:
Win tickets for your choir to A Christmas Carol (suitable for ages 7+), by sending us a recording or video of your group singing any Christmas carol – from The First Noel to Last Christmas and anything in between – maybe you’d even like to write your own? Let your imaginations run wild!
7s and under:
Win tickets to Chloe and the Colour Catcher in our new Weston Studio, by sending us a recording or video of your group singing any song with a colour in the title – Yellow Submarine? I Can Sing a Rainbow? Baa, Baa Black Sheep? The choice is endless! Feel free to dress up if you like.

Please note: choirs will need to be able to attend the Press performances on Wed 5 Dec (Chloe and the Colour Catcher winners at 4pm and A Christmas Carol winners at 7pm) to perform their winning songs.
T&Cs: The winners in both age categories will be contacted on Mon 26 Nov. Up to a maximum of 60 tickets for A Christmas Carol and 30 tickets for Chloe and the Colour Catcher, subject to availability, best available seats. Opening night performance date: Wed 5 Dec. The winning schools would need to provide their own transport to Bristol Old Vic.
