Booking, Fees & Bursaries
Booking
Young Company goes on-sale on the Wednesday of half-term at 10am. Please contact the Box Office at tickets@bristololdvic.org.uk or 0117 987 7877 for help with booking.
Places will come off-sale after term starts. If you would like to book after this point, please email getinvolved@bristololdvic.org.uk.
If you are not sure if you’ve booked, you can check your booking by searching for a confirmation email from tickets@bristololdvic.org.uk.
Do I need to audition for Young Company?
You do not need to audition to join Young Company - sessions are sold on a first come, first served basis. There is an audition process for shows, however these are run as ensemble casting workshops, so individual members don’t need to prepare monologues or perform solo. For more on our shows, see Shows & Sharings.
Young Company Fees
Early Years (3-5s) Young Company £40 per 5 week term
Junior Young Company £100 per 10 week term (Year 1-2, Year 3-4, Year 5 and Year 6)
Senior Young Company £110 per 10 week term (Year 7+)
10% discount is available for sibling bookings.
Young Company Bursaries
We offer 50% and 100% bursary grants for anyone who will struggle to pay Young Company fees. Bursaries are offered on a termly basis so please re-apply for a bursary even if you have received one before. Bursaries should be applied for when booking opens on the Wednesday of half-term.
In order to allocate bursary places as fairly as possible we will initially prioritise applicants who are eligible for free school meals.
Bursary applications for Autumn Term will be accepted between Wed 3 June at 10am and Wednesday 26 August. When a Young Company session has reached capacity, we will not accept bursary places for that session. Therefore, if you wish to apply for a bursary, please send the application form in as soon as possible, once applications are open.
Applying for a bursary means we automatically reserve you a space for Young Company, so you do not need to make a paid booking in addition to your bursary application. You will have the option to buy your reserved place if your bursary application is not successful.
Waiting Lists
Young Company places are limited so please sign up as soon as possible. Reservations are not final until payment has been received. If a Young Company session reaches capacity, a waiting list will be started. If a place becomes available for a sold-out session, Box Office will contact the waiting list and book new places in on a first come, first served basis.
A waiting list is only for a term at a time, and will not automatically carry over to the next term if you do not try to book again.
