Information about Young Company Spring Term Sessions
- Young Company sessions Year 3-4 and above will be delivered in person at Bristol Old Vic, in groups of up to 30 young people.
- Year 1-2 will be delivered as one group of 25.
- Early Years (3-5s) session will be delivered with up to 20 young people in a group.
- Our Young Company showcase, Springboard, will be on Saturday 5th April.
Information about 25-30 sessions
We have noticed that there is a demand for theatre sessions for this age bracket, as opportunities for young people usually stop at age 25. These sessions are for anyone who hasn’t had the chance to explore theatre in education, or who has been involved in youth theatre and wants to continue exploring theatre with their peers.
25-30 Company is your space to meet with other like-minded individuals and create theatre, guided by a professional theatre practitioner. Each term will be led by a practitioner with a focus on a specific area of theatre, such as text, verbatim theatre, movement, and many more.
How to book a Young Company place online
- If you are booking for someone other than yourself online, please ensure you book under the participant’s name, not your own.
- When making your booking, if you are booking in multiple participants, you must book in each one as separate bookings. If you have a sibling attending another session, you can select the ‘sibling discount’ price for each participant.
- If sessions fully sell out, please contact the Engagement team to be added to the waiting list for that session.
You will need to book and pay for a place using the links below ⬇️

Fees and Bursaries
We have a limited number of bursary grants that are available in cases of genuine hardship for anyone who will struggle to pay Young Company fees. Bursaries should be applied for when booking opens on Wednesday 30 Oct at 10am.
Applying for a bursary means we automatically reserve you a space for Young Company, so you do not need to make a paid booking in addition to your bursary application, and you will have the option to buy your reserved place if your bursary application is not successful.
In order to allocate bursary places as fairly as possible we will initially prioritise applicants who are in receipt of free school meals, please note that we will contact your school to confirm this information. Please visit the Fees & Bursaries page to download a bursary application form.
Bursary applications for Spring term will be accepted between Wednesday 30 Oct at 10am and Wednesday 4 Dec. When a Young Company session has reached capacity we will not accept bursary places for that session.
Please send the application form in as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment.
